NOMAR/GSREIN USAGE
NOMAR/GSREIN offers IDX solutions to brokers only. The MLS data can only be placed on a broker owned site. GSREIN does not allow the distribution of data to third party sites or modification of listings that are not your own. Unlike most MLSs, NOMAR/GSREIN does not allow any co-branding. The rules state if an agent frames a brokers site, the framed site must remain identical to the brokers site with all the brokers contact information. This effectively eliminates most types of integration for agents with IDX data.

IDX DATA
The data that is available for NOMAR/GSREIN IDX is clean data and is updated daily. The CoreLevel system updates at about 7pm eastern time for all new listings since the previous update.

IDX FEES
There are no fees charged by NOMAR/GSREIN for the use of their MLS data. GSREIN offers a free framed version of their IDX or FTP downloads for use by your real estate website developer.

MAPPING SOLUTIONS
Using a map search function should be carefully considered for this MLS. One of the significant problems with MLS mapping searches is the number of listings that cannot be mapped accurately. In a random check of NOMAR/GSREIN MLS listings, only 80.5% of the listings could be accurately mapped to their address with another 7.6% mapped to the street. On the down side, 10.1% could only be mapped to the zip code. This means in a search by map, nearly 10% of homes will not be found in the map area people search, but should be. Therefore, the best recommendation for GSREIN is a good MLS search with optional mapped results.
